Shares of the company, which provides a monitoring and security platform for cloud applications, are trading sharply higher after Datadog reported strong upside results for EPS/revenue in Q4.
This was welcome news for investors left wary by rival New Relic's (NEWR) weak results and its stock's subsequent sell-off.
