Norwegian oil giant Equinor on Wednesday presented a CO2 pipeline project to bury carbon dioxide under the Norwegian North Sea from a terminal in Belgium.

It is expected to have a capacity of 20 to 40 million tonnes of carbon dioxide per year, to meet the "growing demand" for carbon capture and storage (CCS) projects to reduce the climate impact of human emissions.
