Space scientists said that a truck-sized asteroid suddenly appeared out of the darkness a few days ago with the Earth in its sights.
The scientists said that it drifted harmlessly past the Earth on Thursday.
The celestial piece of rock dubbed asteroid 2023 BU floated past without causing any incident and wafted back out into the blackness of space.
