From Brown Act violations, to closed fire stations, closed sheriff stations, neglected roads , high risk trees, and sky rocketing insurance rates, the residents of Butte County’s Berry Creek have been betrayed and screwed over by budget cuts/decisions made by our own unscrupulous Board of Supervisors that put the safety of their properties and their very lives in peril.
Where is all the money going?
One speaker mentions prop 172 and 15 million dollars allocated specifically for public safety projects.
Between that, everyone’s property taxes, as well as exorbitant, unaffordable government owned California “Fair” Plan insurance money, there should be more than enough to tend to these urgent concerns.
