Simon & Schuster’s Gallery Books has won a bidding war for the North American publishing rights to a memoir by a former U.S. intelligence officer who was involved in a mysterious Defense Department program.
The book, titled “The Havana Syndrome: My Undercover Life Fighting America’s Secret War Against Russia,” is written by Scott Andrews, who served in the U.S. Air Force for 36 years and was decorated for his work in counterterrorism.
