Police bodycam shows bloodied man being dragged from house after threatening ex-partner and slashing officer

Three police officers have been nominated for a bravery award after disarming Kyle Butler, 29, who was found holding a knife to his former partner's throat during a domestic violence incident in Basingstoke, Hampshire, in June last year.

The officers, PCs Robert Davies, James Pawley and James Langmead, forced entry into the house and found screaming, smoke, flames and Butler sitting behind his ex partner, threatening to kill her in front of their two small children.

Dramatic bodycam footage shows Butler being dragged out the house in an incident which also saw his ex-partner and PC Pawley sustain knife injuries.
