Leonid Rogozov (1934–2000) was a Soviet-Russian doctor and surgeon who gained fame for performing a self-appendectomy while stationed in Antarctica.
He was part of the sixth Soviet Antarctic Expedition in 1960-1961, stationed at the Novolazarevskaya Station.
