HARDY was on a high from performing and winning not one but two awards at the CMAs in Nashville on Wednesday night.
The singer-songwriter scored both Music Video of the Year and Musical Event of the Year for 'Wait in the Truck' featuring Lainey Wilson.
The rising star said he wept the first time he heard the song fully produced.
He then told his now wife, Caleigh, 'I think I wrote the best song that I've ever written in my life...and I just knew this song is going to help people.'
Earlier in the evening he was joined on stage by Post Malone and Morgan Wallen for a Joe Diffie medley to honor the late country singer.
