When Covid came and things got shut down AnnMarie suddenly had more time to focus on art again, and what better subject matter than animals.
She often is asked if she only paint animals, and the answer to that is no..
She paints other subject matter, but has been focused on pet portraits because she is deeply connected to animals and knows how important and loved they are by their families.
Charitable donations are very important to her, so she donates 10% of her commission to an animal related charity.
AnnMarie tries to make the donation relevant to the pet and their owner.
If the pet came from a shelter she donates there, if a shelter or organization refers an art buyer to her she will give the donation to that shelter.
She has donated to K9's for Warriors when the pet owner was a veteran with PTSD.
She is very grateful that she can use my art to help animals.
