On Tuesday, a tragic incident unfolded near the Bijapur-Sukma border in Chhattisgarh, resulting in the loss of three security personnel's lives and injuries to 14 others during a gunfight with Maoists.
The injured personnel were swiftly transported approximately 400 km from Sukma to Raipur for necessary medical treatment.
The confrontation occurred as security forces were engaged in establishing the Naviev Security Camp in Tekulagudem village, located on the border of Sukma and Bijapur districts.
The camp's objective was to curb Naxal activity and provide essential amenities to the local population.
