U.S.’ F-16 Fighter Jet Crashes Off South Korea A Day After North Korea Fires Missiles

The US military's F-16 fighter jet crashed into waters off South Korea's southwestern coast on January 31.

The incident marked the second F-16 crash in just over a month in the country amid escalating tensions with 'rogue' North Korea.

The US military's 8th Fighter Wing said in a statement that that plane experienced an unspecified in-flight emergency and the pilot safely ejected from the jet.

This comes just a day after North Korea fired several cruise missiles into waters off the western coast of South Korea.
