Labour leader calls for 'restraint' in Gaza

Labour leader Sir Keir Starmer has called for "restraint" in Gaza as he praised the action the government took over the weekend to defend Israel.

It comes as Iran launched over 300 drones and missiles in an attack on Israel on Saturday night.

"We reiterate our call for an immediate ceasefire, for Hamas to release hostages and for the return to a diplomatic process that can rekindle our hope for a two-state solution," Mr Starmer said.
