[New Zimbabwe] Zimbabwe started 2024 with the news that we have the highest inflation rate in the world. Johns Hopkins economist Steve Hanke said that on 4 January our annual inflation was 1 024%, 38 times higher than the rate stated by the Zimbabwe government.
