Mom who pleaded guilty in son's death in Ontario's Grand River gets 2-year conditional sentence

Michelle Hanson has been handed a two-year conditional sentence, was put on probation and given driving restrictions for pleading guilty in the death of her three-year-old son, who was swept down the Grand River near Orangeville, Ont., in 2018. Hanson now lives in Newfoundland and Labrador.
