People flee from Myanmar into Thailand as tensions escalate

Villagers from Myanmar fled across the Thai border on Saturday as fighting intensified between Myanmar's military government forces and anti-junta militia groups. Panic-stricken villagers waded through the Moei River to cross into Thailand amid the sound of gunfire and mortar bombs.
