Fitzgibbon: Labor must set aside all opposition to coal mining to win byelection

While Labor is yet to formally endorse a candidate, senior sources have indicated former Muswellbrook deputy mayor, coal miner and CFMEU Mining and Energy official Jeff Drayton is emerging as a contender for the byelection.
