Tempe, Desert Financial offer Covid-19 microloans to businesses

Tempe businesses with five to 50 employees may qualify for microloans to help during difficult times brought on by the Covid-19 pandemic. The city of Tempe and Desert Financial Credit Union on Tuesday unveiled the $1 million Tempe Small Business Emergency Loan Program, which allows eligible companies to take out loans between $5,000 and $20,000, with a 90-day deferred first payment.
