Kroger joins H-E-B in expanding store hours

Cincinnati-based Kroger Co. (NYSE: KR) is the latest grocery chain to expand its temporary store hours this week. After shortening store hours several weeks ago to help keep stores stocked and cleaned, grocery chains have started to expand their hours again. H-E-B announced last week that it would expand its temporary hours starting Monday, April 27, to 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. Kroger also expanded local hours starting April 27.
