Florida among states with highest unemployment claims for last week

Florida remained the No. 3 state in the U.S. for the most unemployment claims, behind only California and New York. Total first-time claims in the Sunshine State were 223,927 for the week ending May 16, up from the prior week's revised total of 223,082, according to the U.S. Department of Labor.
