Erie County’s total of Covid-19 cases surpasses 6,000

Erie County Executive Mark Poloncarz reported 43 new cases of Covid-19 in Erie County on Sunday, bringing the county’s total number of confirmed cases to 6,065. The City of Buffalo still has the highest amount, with 2,544 confirmed cases of Covid-19. Poloncarz says the county does not have an update on recent deaths at this time, and won't until Monday. The most recently reported total was 524 coronavirus-related deaths in Erie County. Additional details are available at Channel 2’s website.
