GlobeX Data Ltd (CSE:SWIS) (OTCQB:SWISF) has announced that it is in the final stages of launching its PrivaTalk Messenger, which is slated for next month.   PrivaTalk Messenger is the company’s Swiss-hosted encrypted and private instant messaging application for web and mobile devices. In a statement, GlobeX said it decided to fast track the launch of PrivaTalk Messenger for everyone to purchase given recent data breaches in messaging apps, notably WhatsApp, and the need for more secure and private messaging and secure communication solutions.  Until recently, the service was only available to its large distributors and government clients. READ: GlobeX Data launches cybersecurity and Internet-privacy solutions in India PrivaTalk Messenger includes encrypted messaging with a self-destruct timer and the company's encrypted email service called Custodia that gives users a secure email with proprietary SecureSend and SecureReply anti-phishing and privacy technology.  Globex said SecureSend lets a user send an email to any other recipient in full privacy and security as the email never leaves Custodia's encrypted email servers based in Switzerland.  The recipient can then click on the notification and reply in the same SecureSend manner, called SecureReply, without the recipient having to purchase PrivaTalk Messenger or Custodia. And the sender can also add password protection, a limit on the number of reads by the recipient and a self-destruct timer for each email sent. “This process is revolutionary as no information is traveling on the open internet and the privacy and security of both the sender and recipient are guaranteed,” the company said.  Eliminates phone number registration One of the many privacy and security features of PrivaTalk Messenger (PTM) is that users do not need to register with their phone numbers, which eliminates a huge loophole in security and privacy, the company said.  PrivaTalk Messenger issues each user a username and a PTM number -- which is the contact ID a user would disclose in order for other PTM users to be added. The service comes with GlobeX's proprietary VirtualVaults and HeliX technologies with all data stored in Swiss-hosted encrypted servers. The company said it plans to offer PrivaTalk Messenger by July 4 for an introductory price of under US$10 a month and will include 100GB of email and message storage as well. The service will be available for purchase at https://www.privatalk.com. GlobeX's privacy solutions are all hosted in Switzerland, protecting users' data from any outside data intrusion requests. The company is based in both New York and Toronto. Contact the author: patrick@proactiveinvestors.com Follow him on Twitter @PatrickMGraham
