Daughter sentenced to prison for tax fraud, mother next

A Greensboro woman has been sentenced to federal prison after pleading guilty to employment tax fraud along with her mother in February. Elizabeth Wood, 40, is sentenced to 18 months in prison followed by three years of supervised release.  U.S. Senior District Judge N. Carlton Tilley Jr. imposed the sentence on June 26, and also ordered that Wood pay more than $2.3 million in restitution to the government.  According to court documents, the two women ran a staffing agency under various names…
