American Manganese says lithium-ion battery recycling pilot plant gets engineering upgrades

American Manganese Inc (CVE:AMY) (OTCPINK:AMYZF) announced Wednesday that its contract research organization Kemetco Research has installed and prepared specialty equipment at its lithium-ion battery recycling pilot plant project. The goal of the upgrades at the facility is to further increase process capacity, without sacrificing the high recovery of lithium, nickel, cobalt, manganese and aluminum, the company said.  American Manganese’s patented RecycLiCo process delivers a closed-loop and environmentally friendly solution for the recycling of lithium-ion battery cathode materials. It is capable of up to 100% recovery with high purity of materials such as lithium, cobalt, nickel, manganese, and aluminum.
