Gender pay gap remains stagnant

Working women’s earnings still lag behind men’s, with recent Census Bureau data showing almost no progress on the gender pay gap from 2018 to 2019.  For every dollar men made, the average full-time working woman earned just 82 cents. This has remained unchanged for three years, according to the National Women’s Law Center.
