Group Eleven Resources Corp (CVE:ZNG) (OTCMKTS:GRLVF) (FRA:3GE) told investors that three prospects have been 'significantly' advanced by its latest drilling at the PG West zinc project in the Republic of Ireland.  The company said five holes for more than 1,000 metres (m) on early-stage targets were completed at the wholly-owned project, which spans 1,005 square kilometers (sq km) and lies within the Limerick basin, which also hosts the company's contiguous 76.56%-owned Stonepark project and Glencore's adjacent Pallas Green project.  READ: Group Eleven Resources kicks off follow-up drilling at Carrickittle prospect on its PG West project in Ireland The property is also home to the Carrickittle prospect, where drilling is on track and results are expected in coming weeks, added the company. "This latest batch of drilling was largely reconnaissance in nature, and yet still managed to add significant evidence of prospectivity to three regional targets within our PG West project," said Bart Jaworski, Group Eleven's chief executive in a statement. "The drilling at Kilteely has the most immediate impact, given the newly identified fault may have positive implications for our exploration efforts along the Carrickittle-Kilteely section of the Pallas Green Corridor." At the Kilteely prospect, one hole was sunk to a depth of 393m and importantly, encountered a significant amount of dissolution breccia within the entire target horizon (Waulsortian Limestone), providing compelling evidence for the presence of a large fault structure nearby, it said. At the so-called Corcamore prospect, which lies around 15km west-northwest of the Stonepark zinc deposit, a thick, highly anomalous zone of mineralization was hit, with near-term follow-up drilling warranted, said the company. At Kilmallock, two holes were drilled in a bid to better understand the geological context of this area, the group added. The drilling appears to have identified a new sub-basin, which may have at least some genetic-links to historic high-grade mineralization in the vicinity, said Group Eleven. At the end of September, follow-up drilling had started at its Carrickittle zinc prospect on its wholly-owned PG West project.  The first phase of the work comprises six holes and 600m and will focus on Zone 1 of the prospect, testing the immediate extensions of the high-grade zone discovery announced in July. Then the firm reported 10.3m of 14.6% zinc and 5% lead, or 19.6% combined, and 43 grams per ton (g/t) silver in one hole. The overall program comprises 20 holes for 1,200m.
