Alabama selected as preferred HQ for U.S. Space Command

The new U.S. Space Command headquarters is not coming to Texas. Redstone Arsenal in Huntsville, Alabama, was selected as the preferred permanent headquarters for the new U.S. Space Command, according to a Jan. 13 announcement.
