Tampa Bay Rowdies league sets season start dates and format

The USL Championship league, which the Tampa Bay Rowdies belong to, will begin its regular season on or about May 1. The league announced the start date following its recent Board of Governors meeting. Additionally, teams will newly split into four divisions to play a 32-game regular-season slate measuring 27 weeks, a news release said.
