Vertex-partnered gene therapy startup raises $110M

Affinia Therapeutics, the gene therapy startup founded in 2019 based on research out of Massachusetts Eye and Ear and Harvard Medical School, has raised $110 million as it looks to file its first new drug application within the next year.
