Great Panther Mining notes nomination of experienced executives Curran and Williams to board of directors

Great Panther Mining Limited (TSE:GPR) (NYSEAMERICAN:GPL) (FRA:G3U) announced that two experienced executives, Trudy M. Curran and Dana Williams, have been nominated to become board directors at the miner's upcoming AGM.  Curran was recognized as one of the Top 100 Most Powerful Women in Canada in 2012 and is currently serving as a board director at Baytex Energy Corp (TSE:BTE) (OTCMKTS:BTEGF) (FRA:B5X) and as a member of the board of commissioners at the Alberta Securities Commission.  READ: Great Panther Mining reiterates its 2021 production guidance following results from its Brazil and Mexico operations Williams is a seasoned executive with over 25 years of global business experience, ranging from insurance, mining, healthcare, engineering firms, broking and financial services. She was the former chief operating officer of Steadfast, an insurance brokerage that went public on the Australian Stock Exchange, and before that, she was the finance chief at Hub International for Eastern Canada from 2008 to 2012 - a Canadian insurance brokerage. "Ms Curran and Ms Williams each brings a wide breadth of experience and knowledge that we are confident will help us execute our corporate strategy and further our focus on strong governance and operational excellence," said Joseph Gallucci, Great Panther's chair of the nominating and corporate governance committee. "We believe diversity helps to broaden the company's perspectives, experiences and expertise necessary to deliver value for all our stakeholders, and these nominations are a key step in that direction.
