Matador Mining appoints Chris Bath as new chief financial officer

Matador Mining Ltd (ASX:MZZ) (OTCMKTS:MZZMF) (FRA:MA3) has announced a new chief financial officer in Chris Bath, effective 1 June 2021, replacing Chris Knee, who will step down from the role.  Bath has more than 20 years of experience in senior financial roles within the energy and resources industries in Australia and Asia, including as CFO for companies listed on ASX, AIM and JSX.  He is a chartered accountant and member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. Cape Ray diamond drilling The company recently started its 20,000-metres diamond drilling program at the Cape Ray Gold Project in Newfoundland, Canada, which is aimed at extending the gold mineralisation footprint at known deposits while testing multiple new greenfield targets, all within 15 kilometres of existing resources. Three holes of the program have been completed, with the first target following up on potential high-grade extensions to the Window Glass Hill deposit, which remains open along strike and at depth.
