Vox Royalty Corp (CVE:VOX) updated shareholders on a busy – and fruitful – period of activity in its portfolio of royalty properties. Drilling by operators at two projects resulted in high-grade gold intercepts, including a maiden resource estimate at the Kookynie project. "Since April 1, 2021, our royalty operating partners have announced more than 80,000 metres of drilling planned for 2021 and that multiple resource updates and new engineering studies are expected to be released – all of which continue to de-risk future royalty revenue for Vox shareholders,” executive vice president Riaan Esterhuizen said in a statement. READ: Vox Royalty announces record 1Q revenue on first Koolyanobbing royalty payment “We are particularly excited to share bonanza- and high-grade gold drilling results across multiple, separate projects, including 3 metres at 30 grams per ton (g/t) at Bulgera and 3 metres at 19 g/t at Kookynie/McTavish. These drilling results indicate strong potential for royalty-linked economic mineralisation at relatively shallow depths." In addition to the drill results, Vox also said that it is expecting to see a resource update and revised preliminary economic assessment in the third quarter of 2021 for the Pitombeiras vanadium project and a new 12,000 metre drill program starting on the Ashburton gold project. Capital raising is also underway to fund a feasibility study and 65,000 metres of drilling at Kookynie, which is operated by Australia’s Genesis Minerals. Vox holds a portfolio of 50 royalties and streams across nine jurisdictions. Earlier this week the company reported record first-quarter 2021 revenue of US$539,980, as it received initial revenue from its Koolyanobbing iron ore royalty in Australia. Vox ended the quarter with about US$10.7 million in cash as of March 31. Contact Angela at angela@proactiveinvestors.com Follow her on Twitter @AHarmantas
