CleanSpark partners with wind turbine tech company FlowGen for efficient renewable energy generation

CleanSpark Inc (NASDAQ:CLSK) announced it has entered into a collaborative memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Swiss wind turbine technology company FlowGen Ltd, in which the latter has agreed to use CleanSpark's mPulse controls solution in all of its microgrid projects globally. CleanSpark said it believes that by blending its software and controls technologies with FlowGen's wind-centric microgrid solutions it will enable the two companies to deliver reliable, efficient and resilient systems to their collective customer base. “The partnership with FlowGen demonstrates mPulse's versatile capabilities with the addition of wind turbines. We believe this will expand the customer base for our offerings in areas less conducive to solar for distributed power generation solutions,” CleanSpark CEO Zach Bradford said in a statement. Driving renewable energy technology advancement and adoption is key to our continued growth, and the results of these efforts are expected to positively impact all of our business units," Bradford added. CleanSpark noted it was also granted the exclusive distribution rights for FlowGen's advanced wind turbine solutions throughout North and South America. It added that FlowGen's technology is powerful enough for large installations, but its small size and low weight also enable easy installation where space is restricted while providing power in areas where sustained wind-levels are lower. Based in Bountiful, Utah, CleanSpark has developed software to help companies and homes become more energy-efficient, and is also big in Bitcoin mining. The company designs and builds microgrids while providing engineering, consulting and turn-key implementation services. It also offers software for energy monitoring and system controls.
