Nextleaf Solutions Ltd (CSE:OILS) (OTCQB:OILFF) (FRA:L0MA) said it has signed a supply agreement with the British Columbia Liquor Distribution Branch (BCLDB) for the sale and distribution of Nextleaf's prohibition-era brand, Glacial Gold cannabis oils and branded products.  As an innovative cannabis processor British Columbia-based Nextleaf Solutions owns one of the largest portfolios of US patents for the extraction, distillation and delivery of cannabinoids. The company supplies cannabis oils to its wholesale customers and distributes consumer products under its award-winning, Glacial Gold brand.   Under the supply agreement, Nextleaf's wholly-owned subsidiary Nextleaf Labs Ltd will supply the BCLDB with large format THC and CBD ingestible oils, and vape cartridges produced at the cannabis company’s processing facility in Greater Vancouver.  READ: Nextleaf Solutions says brand partner State B to pitch cannabis beverage line on Dragon's Den From there, the products will be sold by the BCLDB; which is responsible for the wholesale distribution of non-medical cannabis to private retailers in BC. The BCLDB is also the public retailer of cannabis throughout the province under the brand 'BC Cannabis Stores'.  "With valued partners here in BC supplying input biomass, and direct access to high-efficiency ingredient processing technology through Nextleaf Labs, the Glacial Gold brand is well positioned to be a value leader in all distillate product categories including vape and oils. We are excited to re-launch Glacial Gold, an authentic BC brand, in our home province, and honour the legacy and reputation it's known for across Canada," Paul Pedersen, Chief Executive Officer at Nextleaf said in the statement. In May 2021, Nextleaf acquired all rights associated with the Glacial Gold prohibition-era brand. The company has since leveraged its extensive IP portfolio, experienced team of researchers, formulators, and marketers to reintroduce the brand. To support the upcoming distribution, Glacial Gold has undergone a “brand identity refresh” and a website revamp, to transition from the prohibition-era into the legal, adult-use cannabis market regulated under the Cannabis Act.
