Adani flagship’s profit jumps 130% as strong recovery continues

Adani Enterprises Ltd.'s quarterly profit more than doubled to 18.9 billion rupees ($228 million) as the Adani Group rebounds from Hindenburg Research's short seller attack. The conglomerate denied the allegations of corporate fraud and has since trimmed debt, secured new backers, and focused on infrastructure projects. Adani Enterprises is redeveloping Mumbai's Dharavi slum and building a second airport.
