Apple reveals top Apple Music charts of 2020
Apple on Tuesday announced the year's top performing Apple Music songs and albums, along with corresponding lists generated from proprietary Apple services like Shazam.
Revealed in a series of "Top 100" charts added to Apple Music's Browse page, the top song of 2020 was Roddy Ricch's "The Box" with more than 455 million streams worldwide. Apple highlighted the accomplishment in its second annual Apple Music Awards in November."Blinding Lights" by the Weeknd and "Dance Monkey" by Tones and I came in second and third, respectively. DaBaby's "ROCKSTAR," which features Ricch, landed in fourth and "Life is Good" by Future rounded out the top five.
