Vidya on being replaced in South films

Vidya Balan recently opened up about the low phase in her career, when she missed out on several films. While she has to her credit several blockbuster hits, Vidya has had her share of struggle. While speaking to a news portal, Vidya Balan stated that before she landed her Bollywood debut film ‘Parineeta’, there was a phase of three years when she was replaced in a dozen South films. Vidya had expressed that her dream of becoming an actor seemed like it would remain unrealized at that point.
