Countless musicians have cut their teeth and got their break on the foundations stages, large concerts and performances around the Strummerville campfire.

The Joe Strummer field at Glastonbury is an annual highlight of the festival and the campfire that burns from the start to finish of the festival faithfully tended throughout the night by the charities fire wardens welcomes all.

If you haven't put in a shift in a hi-vis yellow jacket at Glastonbury tending the fire, or listened to a DJ set in the early hours as someone cranks out Trojan Sounds to the JSP camp - then have you really been to Glastonbury Festival?
