It's about "finding yourself feeling distanced in a relationship..."

*Harve* teams with *Fatima* on gorgeous new single 'Anything'.

Harve's recent EP 'Held By The Moon' was a stunning introduction, a soulful portrait of this South East London based non-binary artist.

Gorgeous songwriting matched to some thrilling left-field ideas, it's now followed by this mid-winter chiller.

Harve and Swedish-born singer Fatima combine on the song, which opens with glacial piano, reminiscent of jazz great Bill Evans.

Their voices intertwine, two very distinct approaches afforded space to intermingle, and become something bigger than the sum of their parts.

Harve cmments...

‘Anything’ is about finding yourself feeling distanced in a relationship; they’re your person, and the closest thing you’ve felt to home, but you’re still feeling alone. When you’re both going through your own hurt and you can’t hold each other up like you used to. It’s about finding yourself together in the space of silence, holding everything you need to say from the person who knows you, sometimes more than you do.

I brought the demo of the track to Josh Scarbrow in our first ever session together and he caught the magic in the song straight away. I’d wanted to work with Fatima for a while and I sent her the song and we got in a session soon after. Her tone just completely lifted the song, she has this honey smooth vibrato and her harmonies are unreal. Her verse brought back the light and the optimism to the song.

For her part, Fatima adds: "That kind of pure, glowing love that make you feel at home & look at life differently. That kind of love that brings you peace, serenity, and make you sacrifice your last waffle. That is the love I’m trying to capture in my verse on ‘Anything’."

Tune in now.
