Seattle Councilmember Sawant calls on Mayor Durkan to resign over police response to George Floyd protests

In the past week, Seattle Mayor Jenny Durkan "has repeatedly unleashed Seattle police to use ever-escalating violence against ordinary people protesting" police murders, Seattle City Councilmember Kshama Sawant said in a news release Saturday.
