Cops probing invective-laced verbal assault aimed at MP Catherine McKenna

Ottawa police are investigating a man who filmed himself last week launching into a hateful and invective-laced diatribe outside Ottawa Centre MP Catherine McKenna’s constituency office. McKenna, standing outside the same office on Monday, called the incident “unacceptable” after the man spewed vitriol and misogyny at a staffer who answered the door of the minister’s Catherine Street consituency office and informed him the office was closed to the public due to COVID-19 concerns.
