Brazil takes extreme measures to fight Zika virus outbreak

Brazil is advising pregnant women to avoid this summer’s Olympic games over the risk of birth defects from the Zika virus. The World Health Organization took the rare step of declaring an international public health emergency on Monday. The group calls for increased surveillance of the outbreak.
