India records highest Covid case recoveries in a single day, recovery rate improves to 67.19%

Even as Covid-19 cases continue to increase, India recorded 51,706 recoveries - the highest single-day recoveries so far. With this the overall recovery rate has improved to 67.19%. The total active cases in the country is now nearing 6 lakh, which is less than a third of the total Covid-19 burden in the country. In the last 24 hours, 52,509 fresh cases were reported.
