Congress leader Sachin Pilot, who is in Patna for campaigning amid ongoing state Assembly elections, is confident of 'Mahagathbandhan' making government in the state. While talking to ANI, he said that on Nov 10, 'Mahagathbandhan' will form the government with a thumping majority. He further added, "Based on CM's bewildered responses and unsatisfactory answers after 5 years, the public has understood that there is a need for change".
Congress leader Sachin Pilot on being asked about his party leaders terming Jyotiraditya Scindia as 'gaddar' said that public will ultimately decide who is wrong or right and everyone is free to decide which party they want to join. Sachin Pilot said, "I believe everyone is free to decide which party they want to be in and public ultimately decides who is wrong or right. He further said people have not accepted Shivraj Singh Chouhan as their Chief Minister. Congress is in a very strong position in all 28 seats where elections are going to happen. An FIR has been registered against former deputy chief minister Sachin Pilot's media advisor Lokendra Singh in phone tapping case. Rajasthan Police lodged FIR on October 7, two months after the Congress leader's camp accused the Ashok Gehlot-led government of tapping phones of some of their MLAs. "FIR registered under sections 505 (2) and others. It registered for spreading rumours over alleged phone tapping of some MLAs and leaders," said DCP South, Jaipur.
The mortal remains of senior Congress leader Ahmed Patel were brought to Sardar Patel Hospital in his hometown of Bharuch in Gujarat on November 25. PM Modi called him a person with "sharp mind" and someone who "strengthened" the Congress party. Whereas Sonia Gandhi said she has lost an "irreplaceable comrade" in Ahmed Patel.

Opposition parties continue to attack the Modi government over the farmer protests. Congress leader Rahul Gandhi said that farmers are the real strength of the country and urged people to join their cause. ‘If the farm laws passed by the Modi government are good for farmers, why are they angry?’ Rahul Gandhi asked. Meanwhile, Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut said that farmers are being treated like terrorists by the Modi government. Farmers have been protesting at various places in Delhi and Haryana and have rejected the central government's offer to hold talks on December 3 saying that imposing conditions for starting a dialogue is an insult to them. Senior Congress leader Ahmed Patel, who was undergoing treatment at a Gurugram hospital after testing positive for COVID-19, breathed his last after multi-organ failure in the wee hours of November 25 (Wednesday), his son Faisal confirmed. Prime Minister Narendra Modi paid his tribute to Ahmed Patel and tweeted-"Saddened by demise of Ahmed Patel Ji. He spent years in public life, serving society. Known for his sharp mind, his role in strengthening the Congress party would always be remembered. Spoke to his son Faisal and expressed the condolences. May Ahmed Bhai's soul rest in peace."Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi Vadra expressed grief over the demise of Ahmed Patel and tweeted, "His passing away leaves an immense void."Rahul Gandhi also expressed condolences over the passing away of senior party leader Ahmed Patel and tweeted, "He was a tremendous asset." He was 71-year-old. Patel, was also the Treasurer of the Indian National Congress, had tested positive for the COVID-19 on October 01 and was admitted to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of Medanta Hospital in Gurugram on November 15. On October 1, Patel, while disclosing that he was tested positive for the COVID-19, had urged all those who came in contact with him in past few days to undergo self-isolation. Congress president Sonia Gandhi paid tribute on death of Ahmed Patel and said, "In Shri Ahmed Patel, I have lost a colleague, whose entire life was dedicated to Congress. I have lost an irreplaceable comrade, a faithful colleague and a friend. Feel deeply for his bereaved family to whom I offer my sincere feelings of empathy and support."
