Fire on board MT New Diamond doused, says Indian Coast Guard; ship`s rear-portion sinks by 3 feet

The fire, which had re-ignited on Septemeber 7, had almost risen to a height of up to 60 meters from the main weather-exposed deck of the ship, also known as the weather deck.
