Cash doles from political parties, government jobs to kin encouraging NEET suicides: Madras High Court

The Madras High Court has observed that cash grants and government jobs offered, by the political parties and government, to families of students (who take the extreme step) are encouraging National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) suicides. This comes at a time when the NEET issue is at the forefront of debate in Tamil Nadu, after three students took the extreme step, on a single day.
