Allahabad HC summons SSP, SHO for 3-month delay in lodging FIR in gang rape case

Taking a serious note of inordinate delay of three months in lodging an FIR of a gang rape survivor and that, too, after the intervention of the court, the Allahabad high court has directed the senior superintendent of police (SSP), Prayagraj, and station house officer (SHO) of Phoolpur police station of Prayagraj to appear personally before it on October 20.
