Saga of love & betrayal: UP woman cop murders beau after marriage snub

While the temple town was being fortified last year in the run-up to the Supreme Court’s Ayodhya verdict, love blossomed between two fresh police recruits in their twenties, who were deployed at Ramjanmabhoomi, keeping in view their age and agility. In less than a year, the saga of love left a bloody trail, with the woman constable engineering the brutal murder of her beau on home turf, Etawah, with help of her two sisters. The trio was arrested early Tuesday.
