India's Covid-19 tally rises to 90.95 lakh with 45,209 new cases

India has reported 45,209 fresh Covid-19 cases, taking the infection tally in the country to 90.95 lakh, while the recoveries surged to 85,21,617, according to the Union health ministry's data updated on Sunday. The death toll rose to 1,33,227 with 501 more fatalities, while total coronavirus cases mounted to 90,95,806, the data updated at 8am showed.
