Pune extends night curfew, schools to remain shut due to spike in COVID-19 cases

The essential services are exempted from the curfew. Maharashtra reported 8,623 new COVID-19 cases in the last 24 hours. In Pune, the total number of coronavirus cases stands at 4,06,453, total recoveries at 3,87,527. Pune has 9,860 active COVID-19 cases till Saturday and has also witnessed 9,235 deaths.
