Covid-19: DCGI approves phase 2, 3 clinical trials of Covaxin on children aged 2 to 18 years

The Drugs Controller General of India (DCGI) approved phase 2 and 3 clinical trials of Bharat Biotech's Covaxin vaccine for the age group of 2 to 18 years, the ministry of health and family welfare informed on Thursday. Bharat Biotech will conduct trials on 525 healthy volunteers through intramuscular route in two doses at day 0 and day 28, said the company in a statement.
